1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the acceptable and prohibited uses of the YourMedSoft platform, mobile applications, and APIs (collectively, the "Services"). This policy applies to all users, including agency administrators, hospital clients, and clinicians. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Services to engage in any of the following activities:

  • Unlawful Activity: Using the Services for any illegal purpose, including fraud, identity theft, or violating healthcare compliance laws.
  • Data Mining & Scraping: Accessing the Services via automated means (e.g., bots, scrapers, crawlers) without explicit written permission from YourMedSoft.
  • Interference: Attempting to disrupt, degrade, or overwhelm the Services, including denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or intentionally exploiting software bugs.
  • Unauthorized Access: Accessing or attempting to access another user's account, or bypassing authentication mechanisms.
  • Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, reverse engineering, or otherwise attempting to discover the source code of the platform.

3. Content Restrictions

Users are frequently required to upload documents (e.g., nursing licenses, certifications, TB test results) to the platform. You agree not to upload, transmit, or store any content that:

  • Contains malware, viruses, trojans, or any other malicious code.
  • Is fraudulent, forged, or intentionally misleading (e.g., uploading fake medical credentials).
  • Infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Contains irrelevant, highly offensive, or unlawful material.

4. System Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your login details, passwords, or SMS verification codes with anyone else. Agencies must ensure that departed staff members are promptly deactivated from the platform to prevent unauthorized access to Protected Health Information (PHI).

5. Enforcement

YourMedSoft reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to monitor use of the Services to ensure compliance with this AUP. Violations of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, deletion of prohibited content, and notification to relevant law enforcement or regulatory bodies (such as nursing boards) if fraudulent activity is suspected.
